I was asked to take all my presentation drawings over the last 8 years and design them into a duplicate-free wallpaper design for UNPLUGGED communication. Here's the end result.

Cell C 'Horror Cafe'
This was a national road show, aimed at the retail sector. The Client originally wanted a carnival, we said "Or you could have a 1950's B-Grade Monster Sci-Fi Event", amazingly - they signed it off.
The invitations went out...
...and on arrival, instead of a red carpet, guests lined up on red circles on the floor, under a stretched tunnel onto which the clients adverts and messaging were projected.
Once at the front doors (5m high split screens), entry could only be gained by
getting past the host and hostess of the evening.
And that proved to be no easy task.
After going through 2 sets of doors, flanked with giant fabric flames,
the guests found themselves in a world of absolute wonder
Banners were designed 5 meters high...
... Children of the popcorn boxes
'When things go crunch in the night - Tell someone'
amongst the designer details were coasters...
...and a range of toilet signage
And what would an event be with free ' I lived to tell someone' T-shirts
It was an event that will be remembered for a very long time to come.
You are cordially invited
Invitation design is usually the first element to reach your guests and its important to create a sense of excitement around the upcoming event as well as to inform them of exactly what to expect.
Winning the pitch
When Hollard said they wanted to throw a year end event in the Coca Cola Dome, with an award ceremony, a dinner and an after party - we all got excited. Then we found out that the theme was a Burlesque travelling circus - and I went into overdrive.
Here are some of the presentation boards:

Virgin Fashion Week
We were asked to activate Virgin's Fashion Week in a way that would reach everyone, showcase local designers, create awareness with a sense of fun, and, of course - not cost too much.
The solution: create shopping bags with designer labels that we changed to suit the local market.

The core concept behind the launch of the luxury shopping and apartment block in Sandton, was Michelangelo's DAVID.
All design elements around this launch were to feature the statue of David in some form or another. The creative and design side of this brief included numerous pre-launch business breakfasts and lunches, artists workshops, street pole ads, invitations and decor.
